We've been here over a year now! I can hardly believe it! Dreamwidth's been pretty good, I'd say, with almost no downtime to speak of and all that! Anyway... how is your spring going? Or I guess it's almost summer, isn't it? Hopefully it's been well! I've been catching up on work and new movies, all very exciting stuff, I'm sure.

Because this post has been spreading like wildfire and I don't want Hange Zoe-like gender drama in the Hetalia fandom because we couldn't read the indentification chart right.

son we got bigger things to worry about in life than "Hanji Zoe gender drama" (wtf is that even supposed to mean) in the hetalia fandom i haven't even seen the OP of that post make a rude comment at anyone for disagreeing with him. comments about his dick notwithstanding

all he did was make a post expressing gratitude for himaruya including some blatant (and some not-so blatant) cues that the hetalia cast is varying shades of lgbtqa+ and the fandom should accept them as canon.

because i //have// been harassed by some people for headcanoning hetalia characters as lgbtqa+ believe it or not. and believe me, the people who do that sure like to get personal about their attacks.

but seriously i looked through rusfra's archive and found your "source"

there's a big difference between genders being stated IN CANON by the author (such as MOSTLY EVERYONE referring to china/lithuania/poland as male) and "assuming" they do not identify as their presumed genders because of a single character identification quiz that was more about "which character is this?" based on LOOKS then actual gender identification

these male characters were listed under "not sure" BECAUSE they LOOK like girls, not because they specifically identify AS GIRLS unless the characters or the author themselves state otherwise

just admit you're headcanoning that already and stop trying to pass off your lgbtq+ headcanons as "canon" just because rusfra's post got 1000+ notes and reblogs

there's other genders besides girl and boy stop being transphobic and maybe someone will take u seriously
