part 353 whalers on the moon

We've been here over a year now! I can hardly believe it! Dreamwidth's been pretty good, I'd say, with almost no downtime to speak of and all that! Anyway... how is your spring going? Or I guess it's almost summer, isn't it? Hopefully it's been well! I've been catching up on work and new movies, all very exciting stuff, I'm sure.

Enjoy part 353!

Ah, then you are an independent practitioner.

I am sure it is very...worthy in its genre...however, I prefer something less-

What aboooooooout...

The Life and Times of A Tragic Trapeze Artist?

It doesn't have zombies! ... or cats. Or aliens.

[but it does have an elephant who sacrifices its life for the heroine]

Well...that sounds a little more like it. What is it about? Which part shall I read?

[if this turns out to be silly, you'll be in big trouble, young lady]

It's about a trapeze artist who rises to fame in the 1920s for her flexibility and also she can communicate with spirits, or well so she claims, who falls in love with a successful businessman! And he wants her to give up her life in the traveling circus to settle down and become a house wife!

I dunno... do you wanna be the trapeze artist? Or the business man? Or the ringleader who tries to talk sense into the artist because he secretly loves her but knows she will never be with him on account of his humble origins?

[but. meeeeeeeeeem] [it's not but still, meeeeeeem]

What a sordid set of affairs. [Just her thing] I suppose I shall read for the trapeze artist...I do think settling down would be the wiser choice. What prospect is there in the circus? Well, anyway, go on and begin.

<3 dinnertime, thanks for the thread!

But if she chose to settle down right away, there would be no story!

[plops down next to you so they can read off the same screen]

[AND BEGIN THE TORRID AFFAIR OF THE TRAPEZE ARTIST....]

And she would save herself a lot of trouble.
