part 353 whalers on the moon

We've been here over a year now! I can hardly believe it! Dreamwidth's been pretty good, I'd say, with almost no downtime to speak of and all that! Anyway... how is your spring going? Or I guess it's almost summer, isn't it? Hopefully it's been well! I've been catching up on work and new movies, all very exciting stuff, I'm sure.

i'm trying not to drip tears on my hyperbole and a half book but in some sections it's pretty hard
depression sucks, doesn't it.

i hope my mother read a good bit of it, before she gave it to me. outside of any indirect communication through this book, in my life there have probably been about 60 words total of communication about depression in my family.

i love it completely and i'm extremely glad to get to read it, don't get me wrong, it just hits really close to home sometimes and i'm a mess so.
