part 353 whalers on the moon

We've been here over a year now! I can hardly believe it! Dreamwidth's been pretty good, I'd say, with almost no downtime to speak of and all that! Anyway... how is your spring going? Or I guess it's almost summer, isn't it? Hopefully it's been well! I've been catching up on work and new movies, all very exciting stuff, I'm sure.

i am so addicted to this show. a++ totally recommend it. it's really good at developing complex and flawed characters, where you're not sure from one scene to the next who you're rooting for but at the same time you usually have an understanding of where they're coming from and why they ended up doing or feeling as they do and ahhhhhhh i have a love-hate relationship with almost the entire cast and it's great

Did a bunch of outdoor chores, which was nice because I like to be outside.

Also proofed a lot of pages for Project Gutenberg. It's fun to see new books get finished on that site that I helped proofread.

it was good watched some soccer stuff and went to the store and bought shorts for summer. now i have a headache though bleh

On the plus side I put up 4th of July decorations which was fun and finished the book I was reading

On the down side I went shopping and it wasn't fun and when I woke up from the nap I took I had a headache and I'm a little sad today.

Useless. I slept in, then spent all day reading fic. I did manage to go to the store for the week so there's that, but that's it.

We went to an event called ~Touch a Train~ put on by a local scenic railroad association. We were the only family there who didn't have a toddler as our excuse, we just all really like trains... :'D It was fun! I got very sunburnt, though.

Haha, it was so much fun ;u; My first brother and I are the only siblings who really have the thomas stuff memorized, my younger siblings completely forgot everything. So we're tossing out character names and making jokes and my sister just goes WHAT ARE YOU TWO TALKING ABOUT?! :'D

ehhhhhhh I went to a wedding and saw a bunch of people I haven't seen in like a month and got sad at how well their lives were going while I pretended I was going to grad school and totally knew what I was doing after the summer. And I had to leave early because my parents came early. Maybe that was for the best because they all went to dance and left me behind at the table. (ahhhh Well it was nice pretending to have friends while it lasted.)

At least the dinner was good! Ahhhh the steak was so soft I wanted to use it as a pillow~ Also, I looked pretty (but I don't think anyone noticed? LOL no one even knew I was there until I crept into their circle (which is a Thing I know I should work on but how are people supposed to know I'm there otherwise?) )

And then I went home and wrote lesson plans while putting off a shower and writing a paper. Which I am still doing. God I do not want to get naked and wet.

Overall a good day I guess! Sort of.

Really nice, had a picnic with the girlfriend and the best friend. Then we went shoping and had ice cream. I'm also almost done with the short comic I was working on, will be ready soon to start a new one that's a bit more ambitious!

Trying not to think about suicide by trying to sleep in and watching movies. Not good overall.
