Do you write original stories, meme? Not just fanfic?

I imagine some in my head, but I never get down to writing them. I hardly write fanfic, even. Everything's better in my head, anyway, and the stories I do imagine are really self-indulgent things.

I used to (try) to write original stories, before I started with fanfic. I think I was embarrassed or something about writing fanfic and with original stuff I could still use situations I wanted for fic but I could do it. But then I finally started writing fanfic and didn't need to do original fic anymore. Maybe someday it'll happen or if I write a full-length fic I modify it to an original thing, but haaaaaaa the chances of that are so not even there

I'm actually currently working on a book! Though it's been a long, difficult process of world building and writer's block and the fact that what I had planned has changed within the last two or three months ahhhh

Not much these days. I do have ideas, but I haven't managed to get around to any of them yet, because I have fanfiction that I'm more interested in writing right now. Plus I'm still working out the plot on some of those original things.

I used to write original stuff all the time (before I got into Hetalia) but the reactions that I received when I showed those stories to people were very... discouraging. And then I just got pressured to write poetry, even though I don't like my poetry very much, which was also discouraging.

So even though I do plan to write those stories eventually, I'm not sure if I'll post them anywhere. Maybe just to my writing journal, but that's it.
