Re: Students protest possible changes to US History curriculum

"Wehhh, you're just jumping to conclusions, we didn't alter the curriculum YET, we were just thinking about doing it, why do you have a problem?"
Because you and your brainless ass were going to change it, you slime. You're just sad you got caught before you could get anywhere.

And really, how are you even going to teach history if you're avoiding civil disorder and social strife.

As someone who took APUSH... gender, class, ethnicity, and other not-so-nice things were definitely covered in old APUSH. And they should be. They need to be. Jefferson, Adams, Dr. King, Boston Tea Party, etc., were also covered, so I don't get her gripe that they weren't. I can't even tell if Williams is talking about APUSH before or after her proposals. Yes, she's very unclear, and definitely not someone I want in charge of rewriting curricula right there. And if she's worried we didn't take the 'right lessons' from the Boston Tea Party, etc., taking that in the light of her disgusting proposal, I want none of it. Fuck you, Williams.

The fact that this comes after we hear President Obama talking about being "pulled back by an undertow of instability" just smells wrong.
