Almost as annoying as people who say "OMG THE FAIRY TALE VERSION OF SLEEPING BEAUTY WAS RAPED ZOMG"

But I thought she was?

In the French version of the Fairy Tale ('Sleeping Beauty in the Wood') she awakens when the Prince enters the room. They talk, fall in love, get married and have consensual sex.

In the German version, the Prince kisses her and she wakes up.

The only rape that occurs is an early Italian fairytale that vaguely inspired Peerrault, which is 'Sun, Moon and Talia.' In that version, the young woman (not a princess, and not cursed by anyone in particular) is lying in an unconcious sleep in her father's home when a passing by king stumbles on her, is like "hey she's pretty," and has sex with her body. That fairytale is also where the idea of "she had twins while she was sleeping and they woke her up by breastfeeding" came from. It's not from Sleeping Beauty itself, but from a story that later inspired it.
