Oh vampires! Oh meme! It's October, which is officially Halloween season. And... Himaruya is back? Kind of? Sort of? In a way. I wonder if we'll ever find out what happened on Halloween. Or if it will forever remain... a mystery. Much like the decision making process behind most of these titles.

I feel like the only one not terrified of the clown from American Horror Story. His makeup/design tries so hard to be scary that it's not effective.

Not even just in AHS, though, in everything ever. People around me are always like "clowns are so scary!" and I don't. why. They're not. They're annoying and unfunny but the last thing they are is scary and it's annoying how it's become such a common thing, and it just feels like because they're so often seen as scary it is embraced and tried to make them terrifying, and it doesnt work at all. Just makes it more annoying and cheesy.

Clowns petrified me as a child and I still have an aversion to them, but to me when a clown is meant to be scary and it's portrayed as looking evil (like th eone from American Horror Story) it just... doesn't do it for me. If it's just a regular clown, that happens to be doing scary shit? unnerves me. But "omgzz!! he has an evil scary grin and is dirty and gross!!" makes it not scary for me.
