Oh vampires! Oh meme! It's October, which is officially Halloween season. And... Himaruya is back? Kind of? Sort of? In a way. I wonder if we'll ever find out what happened on Halloween. Or if it will forever remain... a mystery. Much like the decision making process behind most of these titles.

people ask me my faaaaavorite restaurant in town, a place where loooocals go, and are so disappointed when I say "The Thai Place"

I don't think I've ever had one, I'm sure they taste good but people expect them to be this crazy amazing delicacy when it's literally cold lobster and mayo on a hotdog bun

hahahaha y'know I don't think they even have lobster on the menu, now that I think about it...

That's pretty much what they taste like. Cold lobster. Mayo. Sometimes a little extra. I blame Travel Channel food shows, they always show people eating them like "Mmmmm mmmmm oh GAWWWWWWD mmmmmmm." Stawp it.

do they have frogs legs? I hope :D

yyyep. don't get me wrong, I really do like the taste of lobster, but it's a sometimes food, not anything I'm obsessed with.

don't think so. noodle dishes, rice dishes, spring rolls, sushi... frog legs are too much for downeast maine, anon.

Gasp! Aww. Well, to be fair, I only know of one thai restaurant within a 90 minute drive that has frog legs.

... I want thai food now.

Although if you do get thai!! Isn't it spicy for you?

Nope! They... kinda know me by my order. Beef Pad Thai, not spicy, and a thai ice tea. All the waitstaff tease me about it, and the owner will poke his head out of the kitchen when he gets the order, going "I know that order... when will you get something different, huh??" h-haa...
