[ She's woken up with a start by a sudden tune from a loudspeaker that seems to be coming from thin air. She's got dirt on her face and clothes, her hair a mess-- she has been running all night, trying to get away from everyone and everything as quickly as she could manage.

However now she's exhausted even after a few hours of sleep. She hadn't checked her map but after stopping she found herself in an H7-ish area close to the river.

She can only hope that no one has followed her and takes a chance at cleaning up a little in the river. She needs to cool off, figure out what's going on, check her supplies and think of a plan.

She sets her bag down by a nearby tree, hidden but close enough to grab if she needs to make a run for it, and cautiously approaches the water, brushing her hair behind her ears before cupping the water and splashing her face with it, letting it cool and refresh her, calm her down. ]

[As he's following the river he's not actively looking out for people, but he does have it in the back of his mind that it's likely he'll meet someone or other. When he actually does come across her he almost doesn't recognize her because she's such a mess. He's more or less okay, considering he slept in a tree. There may be a twig or three in his hair.]

[This is... He doesn't know what weapon she has, or what kind of mood she's in, but it's probably not a good idea to sneak up on her regardless. He considers briefly before deciding to announce himself. The opposite didn't work at all last time.]

Uh. Hello.

[He has no idea where her pack is but he steps out of the trees from the same general direction, both hands visibly empty.]

[ There's a pause in her actions before she looks over with a start. On one hand, she's very relieved to see that it's just Lithuania. On the other... she isn't sure if she can trust anyone. ]

[ Her eyes are all over him, trying to spot anything he may have hidden as she slowly gets to her feet and takes a couple steps back. ]

[Once he would have talen offense to that kind of thinking, but if he knew he'd probably be glad about not appearing threatening. The opposite would be a problem in a situation like this. As far as what he has on him all she'll find is his pack, slung over his shoulder in a way that suggests he wasn't expecting company so soon.]

...I was just passing by.

[Now that he considers it, he's wondering if alerting her to his presence was the right thing to do at all. He's heard she can be pretty scary when she puts her mind to it. Hopefully she doesn't feel the need to test that out on him so early on, though.]

[ She looks at him for a long moment, taking him in, thinking over every possible scenario but in the end... she can't hurt him. Lithuania is her friend and from what she can see, unarmed. ]

[ She nods and steps back to let him pass. ]

[His weapon is in his bag, but for right now it's going to stay there. She looks like this whole thing has been seriously messing her up, and he can't bring himself to add to that.]

[As he's passing by he still doesn't quite let his guard down, but he does look at her with a thoughtful expression.]

[ Keeps her eyes on him as he passes by. It's cold, yes. And she is not known to be cold. Even when she's mad she doesn't get cold, she gets very heated. But she can't take any chances. ]

[ She can't kill him. She WON'T kill him. And if he decides to turn around and try and take her out then so be it because she won't. ]

[Feeling her eyes on him as he passes is weird, to say the least, because usually she's much warmer than this. He runs cool most of the time, even when he gets mad, but there's no calculation going on there despite what she seems to be thinking. It's actually making him nervous to be watched so closely but he tries not to let it show.]

I'll try.

[Once he gets past her he doesn't feel any better, considering that his back is partially to her now. Despite his attitude he's not trusting her completely either.]

[ She tries not to move too suddenly, waiting for him to get at least ten steps ahead of her before she slowly steps back towards her bag. Once she does she leans down slowly, shouldering it and trying to silently make her way back into the woods.

She feels bad leaving Lithuania to continue on his own but as tempting as a partnership seems, it can be dangerous as well. If they're successful they'll get to the end and then be forced to turn on each other or die together. It's not something she wants for either of them. ]
