[the hard part is trees are a thing. and snake pits too. unless they circle around and use the road to the beach instead]

[idly wonders if snakes would not get a punishment for attempting aggression inside the tent since they don't have those collars, in which case, maybe having one of them stay awake is a good idea after all. but what about the other way around? if they attempted aggression on the snake, would their collars explode? does shooing it out of the tent count as aggression?]

[turns and just stares at you in worry]

[He hadn't even realized they were near the snake pit, but once there's one in the tent he definitely notices.]

Don't kill it! That would be bad luck.

[It's a long time since his people revered snakes--grass snakes, but still--but he still has a huge soft spot for them. He could also use the luck if he can get it. The rules aren't so much of a concern for him, because they probably only refer to the contestants.]

All my food's gone and I missed the stupid food announcement earlier because I was trying to make a boat but everything sank and I need a freaking ax to get any wood and I ran out of Starbucks! [Rummages around in the bag to see if there's anything edible in it.] When we get off this island I am eating a cow.

[There is... no food in this bag. What the hell, Lithuania?? Sadly empties it out and stares at it.]

[Can she. Can she eat the blanket?]

[That is a lot to process. She was trying to make a boat?? How is that even remotely useful if she starves in the middle of the ocean.]

Promise you'll cook it first.

[He's about to tell her he doesn't have a Starbucks in there when she complains about his lack of food, which is not true. He got tons of extra in case there wasn't any more coming. He just hid it well. As she's looking sad he takes the bag out and empties several side pockets, inviting her to take her pick.]

You should really worry about basic needs first.
