[It's not the hair that makes Germany look like a ~~stereotypical seme~~ ~~old fart~~ uhh mature individual, it's his attitude. He wouldn't be surprised to see Germany yelling at kids to get off his damn lawn especially if it was him and a couple of wombats.]

[Haha, no. He edges closer to Germany, getting into his personal space, his shoulders back and a grin that's almost flirty on his face.]

[At that comment, Germany mirrors Australia's movements, stepping closer to him and getting into his personal space. With the exception of his flushed cheeks, his expression is far from flirty as he glares down at Australia. But then, it's always far from flirty]

[He clenches his hands in order to keep them at his sides, rather than wrapped around Australia's throat, and grinds his teeth together. Any act of violence and his collar will explode. But... that's only in the neutral zone. He takes a deep breath, doing his best to calm himself, and then nods his head in the direction of outside]

...Not here. I saw a hidden clearing outside that will do.

[Also Germany getting all up in his personal space is a promising sign even if he is all pissed off and blushing. Good enough, and he can write that grinding of teeth off as nerves or something. Despite that, he's not expecting Germany to say yes that easily and it makes him blink in surprise before a sneaky grin spreads on his face.]

Right. Just keep an eye out for anyone sneakin' up on us.

[Because even if he's propositioning Germany in a middle of a game where everyone is trying to kill each other, he's not a complete idiot! Just mostly. With a quick glance around he takes hold of Germany's arm and tugs him along outside in the direction he pointed in, trying not to get distracted by his adrenaline. Nothing like a quick root to get the blood pumping.]

[To be fair, he can be very intimidating. Though not Sweden-level of intimidating]

[Germany grinds his teeth together again to keep from insulting Australia and ruining this. He simply lets Australia tug him along, letting his eyes roam over their immediate surroundings to make sure nobody's nearby. He doesn't want an audience for what he's about to do]

[For the idea that he had in mind, Germany had nodded in the direction of a fairly large, sturdy tree. As soon as they're beside its trunk, Germany stops and digs his feet in the ground. He yanks his arm free, wrapping his hand around Australia's throat, and uses that to push him up against the tree. As if that's not enough, he lifts him up from the ground, just enough that he and Australia are eye to eye. When he leans in close, there's actually not as much anger in his expression as the outburst would suggest. If Australia looks closely, he'll see Germany looks more concerned than anything else. Though, anger is also a big part of it]

Damn it, Australia! Take this seriously already!

[Thank god for that, because if Germany starts using a sex toy as a weapon he's outta here.]

[Instead of reading Germany's body language he's busy in his own thoughts and when they stop by the tree he takes a quick look to see if the coast is clear before--]

[He's not expecting Germany to go straight for his throat like that and he chokes for a moment, the pressure of Germany's hand making the collar dig in more. Fuck, should have known he couldn't trust someone like Germany and he's too busy trying to breath and get out of Germany's grip to look for the look in his eyes, because what the fuck you murderous git! Perhaps Germany should express his concerns in a more normal manner in future?]

[His reply to Germany telling him to be more serious is to lift his knee and ram it right into his stomach. That serious enough for him? No wonder Germany never gets laid.]

[Smart choice. ~~Since Germany's sex toys are quite kinky~~]

[If he's being honest, Germany must admit he gets a small amount of satisfaction from the fact that he manages to take Australia by surprise. But that doesn't last long as Australia knees him in the stomach. The bulletproof vest helps against bullets, but it doesn't help with the impact very well]

Damn it...

[He grunts, letting go of Australia and covering the sore area of his stomach with his hand. With the other, he reaches out to fist the collar of Australia's shirt and maybe give him a good shake]

[Of course they are.]

[Germany might have taken him by surprise but he tends to get fighty when anyone goes straight for his throat normally, never mind in a situation like this. He gets a lot of satisfaction from Germany letting go of him and being able to breath. With a few deep breaths he slides down the tree slightly, trying to focus and deciding if he needs to kill Germany or not. He'd rather not.]

[His hand stills Germany's on his collar with a firm but not painful -- yet -- grip before he lets out a sigh. Germany might be violent but collar shaking isn't murder after all.]

Let's not get aggro, mate, ain't gonna help.

[Now his point's made, he can go back to the important business of mocking. What, you thought that'd stop him? ]

Ya could have just said no instead. God, manners like that I'm not surprised ya ain't shagging anyone.

[Germany was about to let go of Australia's collar at first. After the comment about his virginity he tightens his grip instead and steps up, closing some of the distance between them again]

[He's blushing both from anger and embarrassment, and he makes a noise that sounds somewhere between a low grunt and an actual growl from annoyance]

What on earth does it take to shut you up?!

[Considering the circumstances he should be more worried, but he's not. He's had this kind of argument turn into sex before, and while he's not expecting that to happen it makes him less cautious than he should be.]

Dunno, I've heard kissing works. Fancy giving it a try?

[Normally he wouldn't offer again but he really doesn't have anything to lose. He's not going to play their game, he's going to do what he wants and currently that's teasing Germany and even, very possibly, trying to get something from him.]

[Wait, that makes it sound like he wants to, but is too afraid of Australia teasing him to try]

[That first sentence sounded more accurate to him so he'll take it as true. He even sounds more honest than usual as he tries to removes Germany's hand from his collar.]

What else are we gonna do? Kill each other? Team up to kill someone else? Yeah, nah. I'm not playin' their game. Are you?

[This is as close to serious as he'll get right now, tilting his head to really look at Germany. If Germany says yes then that changes everything.]

[That actually sounds sensible to Germany. But, now that Australia's not riling him up anymore, he's calming down again. He lets Australia remove his hand from his collar and takes a deep breath, thinking it over]

[He wasn't lying when he said he thought Australia had rugged good looks. And though he can't pinpoint why, he's growing fond of Australia, too. Despite how annoying he can be. For a very long moment, he searches Australia's face for any sign that he's just teasing him]

[It's tempting. But as he thinks it over, as he calms down, the battle they're in worms its way to the front of his mind again]

[He's convinced he's going to regret this later, but he takes a step back and glances around, figuring out which way he's going to go]

...I'm sorry.

But I want to know if the others are all right. Italy, Japan...

[He's not about to abandon his friends]

[Calm is probably better in their current situation, even if he's not very good at causing it. Chaos yes, calmness no. Calm also means Germany removing his hand from his collar, which is good and when Germany takes that long moment to search his face, he gives him an easy smile instead. No mocking this time. Not a time to lose his head.]

[As much as a nuisance Germany can be when he's just trying to have fun, he admires Germany's honesty and he wasn't kidding about finding him attractive. It seems like this isn't the time to act on it though, and as much as he's up for it, if he thinks about it he can see why Germany isn't.]

[That's not the kind of yes that'd make him worry. It's actually sweet to hear Germany worry about his friends, even if he takes a step away. Maybe another time.]

Don't yell at them too much, they might think ya don't care if ya do.

[They're probably used to it by now, but it's a point and it's not till he says it he figures that it's probably part of why Germany got aggro with him. Oh, well. If he's right, that makes a difference and he steps closer to Germany again before he rushes off, leaning in against his ear.]

If ya get yaself killed, make sure it's worth it.

[Since it's kind of inevitable, but the thought is there. It's also there in the small kiss he presses to Germany's forehead before he has enough time for second thoughts and before disappearing back into the forest himself. Hopefully the next person he meets is just as friendly.]

[Calm may be better in their situation, but Germany doubts it'll last much longer. There are still many participants left, and he's not optimistic enough to expect they will all lay down their arms and figure out an escape plan together. And Germany for one is more than prepared to fight to defend himself]

[He may not have a lot of friends, but he's very loyal to the ones he does have]

I won't...!

[Germany knows he can be loud, but he doesn't think he yells that much]

[He flushes when Australia steps closer and whispers in his ear. Teasing isn't the only thing that makes him blush. Signs of affection do, too. It throws him off, and before he has a chance to respond other than by stammering, Australia disappears back into the forest]

...W-What on earth just happened here?!
