Hello again meme! Can you believe all these new updates? I love it! I hope we see more historical stuff, though and not just emperors. Also more of that Denmark, whatta guy.
Enjoy part 359!

Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
As well as can be expected, I guess. What about you?
[It looks like he's been hiding. Good.]
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
Not bad. Laying low, mostly. Seen a lot of people go by, but managed to keep out of fights. You?
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
[And, well, Turkey offered him a fight but he's a friend too. Still fine.]
...I'm not sure if Norway counts as a fight.
[Or a friend, for that matter. He didn't mean to bring it up but America asked and he's really bad at lying to him.]
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
[He frowns at the mention of Norway, and the reminder that he had just been killed. It was his younger self, but still.]
Hey...Do you think we'll be off the island by the 14th?
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
Hm? I hadn't thought about it. Why?
[But his birthday is a couple of days after... That would be something.]
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
Ah, well, you know, I just got a date and all for Valentines. And they aren't here, so I wouldn't want them to think I stood them up or anything...
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
He forgets it every year without fail.]Well, I hope you can make your date. But I think being stuck in a place like this is as good a reason as any to reschedule if you have to.
[Because seriously. International death match.]
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
[Shrugs]
No worries! Just gotta make sure this is all done and wrapped up by then. How hard could it be?
[Turns with his plate, looking for somewhere to sit. The axe at his side was still sharp, not blunted or dinged by use, catching the light from the sun on its edges.]
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
[But he's distracted by that pretty fast by America saying he'll wrap this up by then. What is that supposed to mean? He notices the axe and very carefully doesn't take his eyes off America as he sits down across from him.]
Wrap it up how, exactly?
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
I haven't gotten that far yet. I figure I'll think of something if the need arises. I mean, there's still two weeks, right? Hopefully we won't need anything drastic.
[Mmm turkey. And it's not even Thanksgiving!]
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
I guess that works. As long as you don't go around killing everyone you meet so you can get out of here faster!
[His tone is joking, but considering that's exactly what he thought America was suggesting...ha.]
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
Well I hadn't thought of it, but let's hope it doesn't come to that. Wouldn't want to go doing something like that. Would you?
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
[...Okay, a lot. It's freaking him out a lot. Is he going to die right now? Because he didn't come to this picnic with the intention of fighting one of his best friends who he probably doesn't call enough. Sorry, America.]
Uh. I wasn't planning on fighting unless I was attacked first. Had you given it any thought?
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
My strategy so far has been to stay hidden and not die, and not get led into a false sense of security by someone that I thought was my ....friend, so that they could then kill me with my own weapon when I lowered my guard.
[Looks back at Lithuania again.]
But you wouldn't do that! Ahahahaha!
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
...That's a good strategy.
[And oddly specific. His memory of the last one is foggy except for his own death but it sounds like someone is holding a grudge.]
I wouldn't. But I also wouldn't need your weapon.
[They're strictly talking in a theoretical sense here, right?]
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
[Looks at Lithuania. Did he just imply that he was going to try to kill America with...whatever weapon it is that he has?]
[Peers over the table, looking for Lithuania's weapon.]
I wonder if they have doggie bags anywhere.
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
[Theoretical battle strategy! But he's never been convinced he could win out against America's strength, anyway. The sword at his hip isn't exactly hidden, but he's making no move to draw it or hide it as America looks over the table at him.]
I've been wrapping food in the trail mix bag. And some of the drier things in the map or blanket.
[It's not nice, but it works. Anything else just goes right in his bag.]
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
That sounds like a good idea. Better than nothing anyway. You run into anyone else?
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
[Who was not actually going around killing people at that point, but what can he say?]
Turkey's playing, and Japan seemed like he might be, but the others aren't. Abigail has my taser now, so don't sneak up on her or anything.
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
Italy was looking for a box the last time I saw him. I have a truce of sorts with China. I protect him from getting killed, and he cuts a year of interest off my debt.
[Looks around.]
I don't know where he sauntered off to, though. Sucks for him, but I guess I can grab some food to go for him.
[The numbers of people fighting aren't looking too good though. This better not drag on too long.]
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
[Does this have to do with the strangely elaborate ship plan? Because he's not getting involved.]
That doesn't sound like a bad deal.
[America's interest is ridiculous. And China isn't helpless either. Probably. This does seem to be dragging on, though. Day six already...]
I'm on my own unless I find Australia or Turkey again.
[He's not going to mention that the second offer was for a fight to the death.]
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
[Nods his head to the sword as he finishes off the last of his food on his plate.]
Do you even know how to use something like that anymore?
[Admittedly, swords were out of fashion well before his time.]
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
[Really nice, actually. The change of subject is too, and there's even a bit of a smile on his face as he glances at the sword.]
This? It's all muscle memory. I used one of these for nearly 600 years.
[His reflexes are good too, and he's been practicing old exercises these last few days. Hopefully it's enough.]
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
[Reaches up, rubbing some of the dried mud off his face.]
Re: Battle Royale - Night 6
[He makes a mental note to ask Japan about his swords sometime, but for now he's more interested in the story America is telling.]
[...It is a little bit distracting that America looks like he rolled in mud. Did he roll in mud, though?]
