Nations aren't really people, but for me, I think it's more than possible that they could have disabilities. I mean, some of them need glasses and can get sick/injured and heck, Austria was canonly in a wheelchair for a while, so it's not like they're immune to everything that humans are effected by. I don't see why that couldn't extend towards mental illness.

I read a really nice fic about Sweden having bipolar disorder, and it didn't feel like an AU to me and I felt like it was pretty well researched/written from the content perspective (and I'm saying this as someone with BD). I can also see Lithuania having some anxiety problems that get pretty disruptive for him too.

Maybe mental disorders for nations are different than they are for humans, maybe like they experience something that's analogous to it? But yeah, I don't think that it'd be impossible if that's the case.
