It's gonna be already May! Have you done your spring cleaning yet? I can't believe the year is almost half over already, it seems like it's going so fast, too fast... ah! And we're only a few months away from a new season and hopefully a certain someone will finish up certain storylines they haven't finish coughcoughcough.

'dinner' means different things to different people here...some people are talking about what i'd call lunch (like at work, someone will say 'it's dinnertime' at 1)

at home, if it's a sunday or i'm alone and feel like it, maybe 2-4. often more like 5-7 due to parents' work times, and if we're going out it's often a lot later (e.g. last night we ate about 9 at a restaurant, but usually it would be 6-8)

i'm really used to an earlier dinner though i kinda think the later time is better (bc then you don't eat supper and it's probably better for your sleep and everything) but i couldn't eat a main meal at 10

I remmber reading somewhere that what people in America call dinner (aka main evening meal) used to basically just be like, whatever your biggest meal during the day was... so in some eras "dinner" was at 11 am or so

yeah, i think that's the logic behind it. dinner to me is more about the size/content of the meal. round here, what you call it is both location and social class based, haha. an afternoon meal can be 'tea' or 'dinner', an evening one can be 'dinner' or 'supper' and according to my coworkers (and everyone on sunday), lunch is dinner too
