Man, meme, now I want to eat something spicy!

Do you like spicy food? How spicy do you normally like it? Is there anything you've eaten that's too spicy?

i love spicy food, my fav is spicy chili or spicy noodles in broth.

too spicy... i was dared to eat a whole ghost pepper once. i ended up crying my eyes out for hours and drank an entire gallon of milk. sort of fun though.

i don't like wasabi. the sensation and taste of wasabi spiciness is actually very repugnant to me for some reason, despite spiciness otherwise being a huge plus.

my favorite is serrano peppers. i find that they are not only very hot but they also really enrich the flavors of meat. mmmm.

I do, I do!

I like food that's spicy enough to provide a burn, but not so spicy that all other flavors are drowned out or so spicy that eating another forkful is a challenge. It's hard to measure spiciness because even the same peppers can vary wildly in how spicy they are... I prefer jalapenos because they taste the best to me, and add a good burn, though sometimes they're weak so you have to add more. Sometimes I'll use stuff like spicy BBQ sauce (famous dave's devil's spit is great, yumyum) or habanero sauce to punch things up.

I would probably be considered wimpy by most spice aficionados, to be honest! Habaneros are too much for me unless I only use them to spice up a sauce, like boiling them in an orange sauce then taking them out before its finished.

As for too spicy... one time my friend gave me a bag of leftover "sliced jalapenos" which turned out to be some exceptionally hot serrano peppers, that I added to a burger and immediately regretted. Another time I ordered "hot" pad thai from a Thai place that I had ordered "hot" from about 10 times before, and it was always just right (and seemed more like 'medium' compared to other places) but this one particular time, the "hot" was just brutal. I had to mix my pad thai with sweet plum sauce to get it edible, and even then it was an experience. I chalked it up to being a different chef, but the next time I ordered hot and sure enough, brutal! From them on I ordered medium.

For me, it's because the wasabi burns the inside of your nose and throw, and it honestly just reminds me of the feeling when you throw up and puke comes out your nose and throw, burning the inside of it.

I don't mind it necessarily, but my tongue and sinuses go all firesale over anything stronger than, say. Water.

Which is to say, yes, I've eaten many things that are too spicy for me.

I don't like spicy food.

I normally like things not spicy at all. A small amount of black pepper is fine, but even the amount of black pepper my mom usually puts on food is too much and so she usually remembers to put less on mine.

Yes, I've eaten lots of things that are too spicy, such as food my dad makes and insists isn't very spicy. No, Dad, it's actually way too spicy and I can't enjoy my food. And once a few nights ago my mom sliced a lime for me right after slicing some hot peppers (which I didn't know) and I licked the lime and made a gagging noise because it was spicy. I couldn't eat it :(

I like ginger though.

Canada invented Kraft Mac and Cheese, the one food more unhealthy than burgers and 100% processed, so no.

I never use to like spicy stuff, I couldn't even handle flaming hot cheetos, but as I've gotten older I like it more. I guess for some heat enthusiasts I'm still pretty baby-tier, but for most things I'm a pretty solid medium, medium-hot?
