spectre...i haven't watched a craig bond film since casino royale and don't remember it very well, i was expecting something darker and grittier, and i suppose i forgot it was still just a bond film and they aren't that serious, lol. i enjoyed the characters, acting and setpieces, but the plot was sort of meandering (like...all bond films ime) and the relationship between bond and the latest girl was unconvincing (same), even though i liked them fine. she wore a stunning dress at one point and i want it. also, while the villain's general story was silly, there was a neat callback to an older film in...feline form.

i think the best part is bond's colleagues and how they actually affect the plot and do their jobs. the current Q, M and moneypenny are very cute.
