I went trick-or-treating right up till mid-college, though it must be said my college years were not generally very successful. (We had no idea where to trick or treat... we had fun though.) One street here is the unofficial Place To Trick Or Treat because it's well-lit and has a lot of houses and families. The police block off the ends of the street for safety and there are even candy-drives to stock up candy for the people who live there, so they don't go broke buying it themselves :'D
