(i was going to bed, too, but i get swept up into something else accidentally :O i was just gonna fill up my bars and leave, and figured i'd do it somewhere where other people were hanging out so i could at least people watch while i finished up. and miss myrtle happened to be in there already! she was in the middle of conversation to matthew robertson--who i thought was her husband or dad till i saw her address him as "brother"--and she was talking about how she'd reported some people. matthew demanded to know who, and she named off the ladies edson (OF COURSE) saying how rude they were to her. so i cut in to add onto that. and she said how they left her "stuck with this child", as if he was still with her.

the guy said in ooc, "drop the lost child storyline" idgi, like to change it up and say the kid was left after all instead of currently with her? or did he think she was making up what happened? i said in ooc that there really was a lost kid and asked what happened to him and got no answer.

myrtle started complaining that she wanted a drink and when her brother told her no, she stamped her feet. here's the interesting part, he said: "and a close sister stokes the fires of gossip."

SO LIKE are they just pretending to be brother and sister? are they up to shady dealings under false identities on this ship? are they REALLY brother and sister and there's some incest story going on under there?

she invited me to the 1st class smoking room after her brother left and now she's telling me she took chase to his parents' room and her parents came in in a panic afterwards. i asked how she found them when finding them was apparently a lost cause, but she didn't really answer except to say we shouldn't take stock in what lady edson says (well yeah)
