random re-ment miniatures

i would feel more justified in collecting this if i actually had the re-ment pieces i do own nicely displayed or something... instead of in a box -__-

i love this stuff, but don't have the skills to make a diorama or whatever to properly show them off

My apartment came with a few glass-door cabinets, I keep my re-ments in one of them! It makes for the strangest cabinet of curiosities ever, since another shelf is dedicated to ancient greek trinkets and another one is pokemon merch... Maybe you could clear out a bookshelf and just set them all up on it, doesn't really have to be a diorama!

You might also consider getting a small dollhouse? I have one from Ikea that's nice and minimalist that I display some of my favorite miniatures in. It's super simplistic, hardly anything matches in size, and the only inhabitant is a spiderman action figure, but it's a fun little way to keep some of my minis out of boxes.

I display mine on a little white doo-dad shelf!

since our last interaction I bought two pins orz

UHHHhhh I don't have a very good tally of my collection, there are a lot that aren't on my bag or have fallen off and I've been too lazy/busy to replace them... There are 16 on my main bag with roughly... 8 that need to be put back on or have just been bought and haven't been placed yet. I also have a lovely owl pin by nate, our former rper onhonhon, on my other bag, and I used to have a rad adventure zone pin on there too but it fell off in the snow months ago... 8n8 There are some bags of abandoned pins here and there, a whole bunch of my granny's political pins... and there exists at least one backpack utterly covered in pins that I took a few faves off and then abandoned in my old room at my parents'. :'D I put a bunch of older fave pins on my corkboard at work to liven it up, too!

I think my favorites are nate's aforementioned owl, my mbmbam twenty-serpentine: zag on 'em snake, an axolotl by megan baehr (it's albino like the first one on that page but has the older design of the ones at the bottom) aaaand a really cute shrinky dink gameboy with a witch themed game by kelly fernandez, I found it at a tiny comics convention. (it's the one on the bottom right, but mine is green!)

at first I was gonna scoff that I don't have a problem since I only have a few on my main bag, but now I'm remembering all the ones I've abandoned.......yikesssss.......

:O I didn't know onhonhon-mun did pins! They're very cool looking! That axolotl is amaaazing, I want (but should not buy).

Corkboards are my go-to for pin display because I'm paranoid about using a backpack and getting them scuffed ha.

I got the octopus jug from Shiny Apple and Orbit from Popalu

Just a plain black shoulderbag with my job's logo on it, ahah. I also have a sweet little flowered purse that I put the owl on. (I used to have a brooch that was a little metal south american pot that I stuck a few fake flowers in that was v v nice and matched the bag well, but it was vintage from my grandparents and constantly getting bent so I had to retire it...)

Yeah, he puts out new ones every now and again! If you look at his store he currently has some rainbow lovebirds! Pretty much everywhere I go I get compliments on his bird pins and I'm so happy to direct them to his shop ;u;

I also get compliments about the axolotl a lot, it's just so cuuuute, I love lotls

It's definitely a worry! I try to be vigilant but I've deffo lost some good pins in my day. Fare thee well, adventure zone pin......./snifff.... 8n8

Hey, the classic backpack always work! And aww that flowered purse sounds really pretty. I never thought to decorate a purse with 1 or 2 in that sort of way, thanks for the idea!

Yeah, I snagged it with a few hours to go, she tends to only open her shop for quick gasps! I'd pretty much been fighting with myself over getting one the whole time it was open, I looooove her work

I used to use a backpack, but my old winter coat was made such that I couldn't raise my arms high enough to put it on :''''D And no prob! Using a single statement pin is a nice way to spruce up a purse!

She's been my favourite since the outer senshi debuted, but I haven't been active in the fandom at all, though I do peek in from time to time. And Sailor Moon has been popular since the beginning, so they're always releasing merchandise. No justification whatsoever for actually purchasing, though I always coo over the charms and things that get released. ~~And if it's Sailor Neptune?
