so after lillian left last night, i finally interacted with that hardy guy (one of the ones in the gay couple who got walked in on). apparently he's a spy, and then i accidentally got to do spying of my own.

see, i didn't realize i could turn global chat on and see EVERYONE'S chat in EVERY room as it occurs! (this has further implications for us talking shit about the edsons on the promenade and in the wine cellar, omg everyone was seeing us be gossips IN REAL TIME)

someone named ms. elizabeth alexander messaged me; she'd left the room with hardy, but she said she was watching him in chat, seeing him act like a snob. it was then that i realized i could see everyone's chat, so i turned it on, and watched hardy go into her room to start chatting her up. she said ooc ((how did you know i was still online? and how did you get in my room?)) and he said, "i have my ways." which was kinda creepy tbh? and then he wanted to roleplay with her and said ((weirdo)) at one point, like directed at her and she asked who he meant, but he didn't say. so it seemed like he was insulting her.

and weirdly she asked me later "are you hardy? LOL" and i said no, but she wouldn't tell me why she thought that when i asked.

so then hardy comes back into the Smoking Room and Matthew's there; hardy tells me about how he looked down on two women for having "subpar RPG skills" and dumped coffee in their laps for it. so he's like an A-Type Roleplayer apparently...

they were talking about how dramatic things are, and i referred to the stabbing. they asked who'd been stabbed and by whom, so lotte just said, "Mr. Thomas Montrose was the one stabbed. As for who stabbed him, I won't say more, but I WILL say if you go into the Aft Cargo Hold, you might find someone hiding out there." so of course they were curious; we went in, and they were shocked because they were acquainted with corbin mercer. hardy tried to ask me more about it, but lotte just smiled and said she'd see them back in the Smoking Room.

they stayed in there for a minute later--hardy said something like "i guess miss lotte knows more that she's not willing to divulge."

then later at breakfast, he tried to ask me more of "the gossip i told him about montrose and mercer". lotte said, "yes, i did tell you the news of montrose. that's all it was, news. and of mercer, i don't recall mentioning his name." then pointedly turned my attention back to my menu.

so how do you like knowing someone knows more information than you, mr. spy? >:)

also i woke up to a message from ms. elizabeth alexander today, saying that davo hardy goes by his actual name on facebook, yikes.

AND THEN...a later message from her talking about an "event in the afternoon" between hardy and another guy, saying "it wasn't pretend"--assuming i'd seen whatever had happened, then went on to say, "he had virtual sex in his cabin with another passenger forgot to lock the door so it was on the global chat for everyone to see... I'm creeped out."

SO EVERYONE SAW HIM SEXTING, i'm dying, i can't believe i missed it

and we were just talking earlier in the ooc chat about how we hoped none of the people insinuating they're getting busy are actually getting busy, because it goes into an archive accessible by everyone. and i said "anyone who decides to do a sex scene on this boat deserves to have it up in the logs for everyone to see later", WELL

i wonder if it was a genuinely extensive scene; knowing he's a rpg snob it probably was...

also i just learned that talks in cabins that are LOCKED do not get seen by the global chat, but he didn't know he could even lock his door

so he could've avoided being seen by literally everyone, at least till the logs went up later

yup yup! dw i can barely follow along right now in the midst of it so you're not missing much while simultaneously missing everything; there's too much going on. there's basically 248 people talking at once. SO MUCH RUSSIAN

lotte just woke up from her hangover and is sampling every type of coffee there is on this ship, to match her irl counterpart's need for caffeine

wait, drinking all this coffee begs the question...what do we do if we need to pee on the lifeboats
