Now there's only 1 partner and I think 2 contributors, including Nostalgia Critic, left on the site. And Doug Walker changed his facebook to say "worked at Channel Awesome" instead of "producer at Channel Awesome." The site isn't being updated, forums are gone... it's a mess.

I didn't make it through the whole document because it was so long but I watched a few videos that had hlights. What a mess!

The whole thing is a shitshow. Doug and his friends incompetence and arrogance is breathtaking. The JewWario rape situation is atrocious. The Nostalgia Chick and her SJW crew are fucking pieces of shit. If Spoony knew and part of his mental health problems the past few years were related to the guilt he felt, well, he kind of deserves it.

I made a bracelet using an old nazar/"evil eye" bead that was my granny's and wore it today. I proceeded to have a really hectic day with just about everything going off-schedule and extra work popping up all over, it didn't feel lucky at all!

So when I got home I grumpily took the bracelet off, and the misty drizzle outside pretty much IMMEDIATELY turned to driving rain so uhhhh perhaps it was holding some stuff at bay after all :'D

(I'm not really that superstitious, I just thought it would be a nice thing to make in my granny's memory)

what nationality was your granny? all of the italians i know are really into the evil eye. my grandma wasn't italian but when she married into my italian grandfather's family, she adopted everything italian; i'm not sure if she was into that kind of stuff before she met him, though. but i guess she passed it on to my mom, who influenced me to like it. i just really like how it looks, not superstitious, really! i have a few bracelets of different colors with eyes and have a placard of a a palm with the eye inside it propped up on my desk for decoration.

it's even more special that you made your own bracelet with it!

getting into true crime and reddit's unresolved mysteries subreddit has made me so much more paranoid than before.

which is probably for the best, all things considered.

but it's also made me less inclined to interact with or help strangers, especially male strangers.

and less willing to entertain stupid conspiracy/paranormal/IT WAS BIGFOOT theories. i get that the people who believe in them are largely earnest and well meaning, but man it's so dumb it's practically insulting.

I'm meeting my s/o in person for the first time in three days and I'm really, really, really nervous for various reasons. Obviously it's daunting no matter what to meet someone you met online, but I'm really shy and have social anxiety on top of that. Also, we've arranged to meet several times before, but it always fell through due to unforeseen circumstances. Now my s/o sprung up the visit on me without me being able to have time to prepare myself, and go figure they'd pick to meet after I've gained weight. I wish I could have them put it off till I could have some time to lose it because I really wanted to look my best for a first impression, but last time we had to cancel plans, my s/o was really depressed about it and talking about how people were acting incredulous over them about not having met me yet. I know it'd be hurtful to even ask after all that and it might be the last straw. I'm afraid they're going to be disappointed with me appearance/social-wise And we're inevitably going to have sex but I'm a virgin so that's not terrifying me at all ahaha..

I can't even talk about it without tearing up out of fear so :')

Aw anon, if your s/o already loves you online, I'm sure your appearance isn't a big factor for them one way or another -- and if they decide they care more about your looks than your heart then they're not worth it, ok? ;3; I can't see you, of course, but I'm also sure you look just fine, and they'll just be happy to finally be able to talk in person!

and if you decide sex would be too much too fast tell them, your comfort is important, ok? They shouldn't be insulted, that's understandably a big step to take!

-watching the omori demo let's plays on youtube and getting hyped because i just heard about this game and have been vaguely fond of omocat's art for a while

-...but upon reading some of the history on this game, a kickstarter that was funded in 2014 and supposed to release in 2015/16 but then there was little to no communication and there's only just now, in 2018, a demo, it kind of dampens my enthusiasm. reminds me of the poor handling of bee & puppycat's production.

regardless, though, i do really like the demo and would be interested in the full game.

however, i feel like this game may have missed its moment to be truly popular. it has a lot of similar humor/references/surreal design elements/dark-innocent tone as undertale, so much so that i assumed it was heavily undertale inspired except that the project was in development well before undertale... it just dragged its feet so freaking long that undertale came and went in the meantime, so this kind of storytelling isn't quite as fresh and unexpected any more. that said, maybe being less popular will save it from the inevitable """""""discourse""""""" (well, no it won't, this has the tumblrest ~aesthetic~ and will undoubtedly attract the tumblrest of audiences - but it'll be easier for me to ignore the fandom if it's not that huge)

Freaking hell, side door just opened by itself; it's been in disrepair and desperately in need of replacement for a while, but I don't think it's done that before. BRB, gots to tape the sucker up, because I don't want uninvited guests coming into the house, humanoid or otherwise.

Uh, I'm not giving up my hat, but I own a few? All for cosplay, but yeh. Hats. I think the most unusual one I possess is a bicorne (for Prussia, jaja), and I love that thing, even though it refuses to stay put on my head.

Also, forgive me OP, but going to do what article-writing!anon above did and hijack this for a short work-or-die-esque thread; this anon has stuff to do and it's not getting done, so gots to create proper motivation and all that.

1. pick-up sibling from school + fetch supper
2. put away dishes currently on the drying rack + wash the ones in the sink
3. one load of laundry + fold the ones that were air-drying
4. at least one of my clothing mends (button replacement, re-do ripped seam, etc.)

Wait wtf, the side door leading to the OUTSIDE opens by itself?

Don't stop at tape, board that shit up in the meanwhile, or at least install a simple bolt you can latch from the inside. And contact a repair person to immediately install a new lock. Don't take chances with the possibility of somebody being able to enter your house.
