I mean, the discoursers would actually need to read the comic for that to happen.

Let's not pretend that a big part of fandom doesn't even check the official material anymore, I bet half of them won't even notice the difference.

true

...but in other fandoms i've seen them leave sometimes when there's such little activity they don't get nearly as much attention/notes/promos/what have you as they normally would elsewhere in larger fandoms, especially when the source material goes inactive for a long time

even over in YOI fandom Otayuri antis don't seem to be spamming the tag nearly as much anymore and that was one of the largest/most active "anti" groups around
