YOU DID IT, I'M SO PROUD OF YOU. Well, it's been a year. I hope it was a good one for you--and that 2018 is even better! And maybe we'll finally get that fansub of even one of the musicals... just maybe.
Enjoy part 367!

(Anonymous) 2018-06-13 06:44 am (UTC)(link)As for Hotel Artemis, from what I gather it's about a hospital for criminals, but in order to receive care, a membership is required and the hospital has strict rules, which result in revocation of membership to the Artemis if broken. (A lot of people note how this is very similar to the Continental in John Wick, which is a hotel that caters to similar clientele and has similar rules, such as no murdering your fellow guests.) However, something happens to throw the facility into chaos, some of which has to do with the Hotel Artemis' proprietor, The Nurse, as well as some of the current guests staying over.
I'll admit, the premise is rather vague, but the trailers seem to suggest that this is half plot-driven, half driven by the characters' interactions, particularly because it's a bunch of criminals who may or may not have reasons to want to harm/sell-out/straight-up murder their fellow guests and/or the staff, and whether any of them would be willing to violate the rules to do so (or even if that was the plan all along). I'm just here to see how this unfolds, I suppose.
(And for Sofia Boutella. And Dave Bautista. And Charlie Day.)
