one of my family's cats does a trick where if you make a little grabby motion in the air above his head he'll stand on his hind legs to receive head-scratchies

but he will ONLY do this before the morning or evening meals, afterwards he's still eternally starved for attention but when there's no food involved he doesn't feel the need to oversell it

oh my god thats so cute

my cat will play fetch with me. she'll let me know she wants to play by bringing me a pipe cleaner. so i'll throw it, she'll chase it and bring it back and drop it either at my feet or on my hand, and repeat.

i feel bad when she tries to play when im sleeping though :( i wake up with a bunch of pipe cleaners in my bed and my cat sleeping nearby
