ariel... well, i loathed the entire 80s-90s in fashion so i guess this is less terrible than it could be. i do think the hair is kind of fighting the rest of the look. i think she'd immediately look way more appealing with short hair.

cinderella is ok, but seems a little too jazzy somehow. i feel like it'd actually look fancier eliminating some details, like the polka dots and embroidery, and focusing on the tailoring which... something about this silhouette is unflattering. a dress in this style should really show off the waist and elongate the figure, yet she looks thick around the middle and short. and this is a doll, so its tiny plastic body should be plenty thin, so it's got to be an issue of the material and cut.
