part 367 bears and wolves oh my
YOU DID IT, I'M SO PROUD OF YOU. Well, it's been a year. I hope it was a good one for you--and that 2018 is even better! And maybe we'll finally get that fansub of even one of the musicals... just maybe.
Enjoy part 367!

Re: ITT: what are you up to
(Anonymous) 2018-09-15 05:30 am (UTC)(link)I've seen similar plans for proposed green towns/neighborhoods where the idea is to save fuel and encourage exercise by making everything you need within walking distance. The buildings/businesses would also share power systems and pumps for greater energy efficiency.
But, on the other hand, there are already places like this where it's more about exclusivity and security. And, I dunno, on the one hand that seems ostentatiously classist; on the other hand, is it that much different from me choosing a cozy suburb distant from the city where I work? I could choose to live in an inner city neighborhood. But I don't, because it's fucking scary and I'm going to live in the safest and nicest place within my budget.

(Anonymous) 2018-09-15 05:52 am (UTC)(link)I mean truthfully if I was ultra wealthy I would probably be totally into the concept. Maybe not the stilts one, but a few of the others. Sometimes I even daydream about moving to the dystopian Disney neighborhood...
