part 367 bears and wolves oh my

YOU DID IT, I'M SO PROUD OF YOU. Well, it's been a year. I hope it was a good one for you--and that 2018 is even better! And maybe we'll finally get that fansub of even one of the musicals... just maybe.

Enjoy part 367!

there was a graphic scene where a character jumps into a lion pit and is torn apart by them (and it's repeated at least once from different angles with other details, in case you wanted a fuller experience!) while her lover, who influenced her to do it, watches the whole thing impassively and remarks about her in a trivializing way and was basically like "she loves me so much she had to go be dramatic about it", which added another layer to how disturbing it was for me.

there's more that others could possibly find more disturbing because it's not shy on gore in general.

Wow, that's pretty fucked up... I'm sure TV will have zero problems adapting stuff like that for our sadistic enjoyment. Though if it's one of those gratuitous violence with no substance, I might make a hard pass, it lies on whether the story is enjoyable for me.

i feel like they might cut away from it and just show the guy's reaction with the sound effects going on off-camera, but who knows. i don't know how violent netflix is comfortable with going in their original series.

i would give it a try if you're interested, at least. from what i did read, the storyline doesn't seem overshadowed by the shock-value moments but ymmv.

I'm definitely putting it on my list. My only experience with original Netflix shows are their cartoons, so I've no idea how far they're willing to push. I do hope they don't go too soft though, cause that wouldn't be fun either.
