How old were you when you were Ayeka?

I was 11 when I was Washu... looking back the costume was kind of hilarious. I had my mom take me to Kmart with a list of things I had to find, then we found a pink wig but I couldn't figure out how to make it spiky so I just kept it down long. Of course no one knew who I was supposed to be at school and I was too embarrassed to say "Washu" so I said "mad scientist lady"

I WAS 11 TOO

and my costume was probably equally bad; i sort of used an egyptian goddess costume as ayeka's "robes" (...I...THINK I GOT THEM AT KMART TOO?!) and then put my hair down in two long ponytails down the back and used that awful temporary hairspray

then i didn't have her anything like her headband and i wanted something more so i decided i wanted to be all inaccurate and kinda mesh sasami in there by putting jewels on my forehead instead

at least the only horrible cosplay i did was when i was a kid and had an excuse
