That's a good way to put it. You can't actually have the argument since it's just the tv/internet telling you what happened, so you sit and stew instead...

I've got an elderly cousin on my facebook feed who I should really just mute, she posts the stupidest conservative fake news drivel and seeing it always sends me into a bad mood. Like I'm mad enough reading the NYT, I don't need her bad take she got off fox news...
