part 367 bears and wolves oh my

YOU DID IT, I'M SO PROUD OF YOU. Well, it's been a year. I hope it was a good one for you--and that 2018 is even better! And maybe we'll finally get that fansub of even one of the musicals... just maybe.

Enjoy part 367!

Re: the last horror game you played or watched

RIGHT?! this game has a setting, this game has a plot, why do people play games when they intentionally skip the plot in a survival horror game that's deliberately framed this way???

as for me, i'm not ragequitting, i'm just scared of the next part lmao
i got to the room with agrippa and it's time to go through the big scary red misty place with the one-hit-kill-you bastards and i'm apparently a coward. i live here with agrippa now, this is my home now.

what makes them ragequit?

i know...if they want to play just to get scared then they shouldn't pick out a story-based game. i feel judge-y because who am i to say how a game should be enjoyed so long as they are enjoying it, but...they're not going to come out the other end knowing anything about the characters or story and what's really going on! so what's the pointttt. and the story's so well-crafted, too.

as far as i can see, they ragequit when they can't figure out what to do next and make it seem like the game's deliberately making things hard to figure out. you know, like it wouldn't be easier if they actually read the notes they picked up instead of saying "i don't care" immediately. and then their chat has to figure out the solutions for them, which doesn't work always because most of them haven't played and are just looking at a guide, so they're telling the streamer "you should've seen this in this place!" when they've already been done with that or are not anywhere near that part, so then the streamer gets diverted for an hour because they're putting all their trust in this person that things should be the way they're saying.

oh that part's the worst--i don't know how anyone gets past them tbh, just dumb luck, because at some point it's like a flood of mr. face's!!

oh geez, there is? the only flood of mr. face's i remember is that one where they're supposed to catch you and put you in jail. but if there is another one, maybe by that point i'll be desensitized from being scared shitless of the mr. talls that mr. faces will be, like, cuddly in comparison. it has literally been years since i've watched a lets play of that part, though.

(and all that shit about skipping notes and plot and it biting them in the ass is partly the reason i don't watch a lot of them lmao)

but no, i do not like mr. tall. the only way i got through the sewer was with my one friend watching. i was showing him the game and he kept saying he wasn't scared so i said "ok you play" and so he did and he did way better than me because he wasn't scared he just fucking went for it. so i couldn't be a coward after that and did it for myself.
