Enjoy part 367!

I meant to make a theme out of witch books but I ran out of time ;adf;asd

The Witch of Blackbird Pond by Elizabeth George Speare

An orphaned 16 year old girl from Barbados finds herself the subject of scorn and suspicion in 17th-century Connecticut--even more so when she befriends the village's suspected witch.

Witch Child by Celia Rees

After her grandmother is hanged as a witch, teenage Mary is ushered by a mysterious woman onto a boat to the New World, where she must face new trials--including the same suspicions that condemned her grandmother to the gallows.

The Heretic’s Daughter by Kathleen Kent

Sarah Carrier, daughter of one of the first women to be tried and hanged during the Salem Witch Trials, finds her own life--and her already fraught relationship with her mother--torn to pieces when the witch hysteria reaches Salem village.

The Witch's Trinity by Erika Mailman

An elderly woman in a famine-striken town in 16th-century Germany fears she may be the next target for a newly arrived friar who is on the hunt for a supernatural source behind the town's hardships--and what she sees in the woods one night only strengthens her fears.

I, Tituba, Black Witch of Salem by Maryse Condé

A fictional take on the life of the real Tituba, a slave who was one of the first women accused of witchcraft in Salem, Massachusetts.

A Break with Charity by Ann Rinaldi

Young Susanna English would love nothing more to become friends with the girls who have weekly meetings at Salem's parsonage--little does she know what the girls' friends hp will soon spiral into accusations of witchcraft in Salem.

I wish I lived in a neighborhood where people decorated for Halloween and did trick or treating. :( I'm missing out on my Halloween fix when I'm one of maybe 5 houses out of 45 or so that has any decorations in our sub division.

i kinda wanna dress up as a female character at work for halloween tomorrow, since they're cool with tamer costumes, but i don't think i will. i've always dressed androgynously at work, most of my coworkers are men, i feel like i enjoy a good 'brotherly' bond with most of my male coworkers, but i worry some of them will "remember" that i'm "feeeemaleeee" if i dress up feminine, and they might treat me differently afterwards.
i've already had to get one guy to tell another guy to stop "teasing me" "like a girl" because i started crying after he kept "bumping" into me. i don't want to go through that again.

i know i used a lot of quotation marks but if that all doesn't make sense, oh well, i guess.
