Penny for thoughts: I wonder if I can finish this Nor/Ger fic before the end of the year. :Va That'd be pretty cool. I only have a few scenes left to go, but... the current scene is soooo long.

Dollar for xmas: One of those fancy salon shampoo & conditioner sets would be nice. I probably won't get it, though.

$20 for a book rec: The Maestro by Tim Wynne-Jones. An oldie but a goodie. Still one of my favourites after many years. Combines the following tropes: running away to live in the woods, eccentric mentor, music = magic (well, sort of. It feels that way, anyway). Might be hard to find outside of Canada, though.

i've been going through people's fandom blogs for fandoms i've recently gotten into, like "catching up on the fandom" for the last year or so
what if tumblr's purge nukes them and i can't even see the mostly sfw stuff they had

Man... I was thinking about participating in the Three Sentence Ficathon, but so many of the prompts are by people who're logged in. And I know some of them are for "any fandom", but like, really? Are you sure about that?

I guess I feel kind of insecure about shoving my weird fandoms into the inbox of someone who didn't sign up for that and likely never heard of them.

Obviously the solution is to post more anon prompts so that I can fill them. Or do fills for the prompt thread that was posted here!

I just feel so... weird when there are prompt fests and kink memes and so on that don't require prompts to be posted anon, at the very least.

It's a multifandom event ongoing from now until Jan 31st. :) People leave brief prompts, and then others write a tiny fic in response, made up of only 3 sentences. (Well, the rules say you can do something longer, but... I prefer to stick to the 3 sentence idea; it's a fun challenge).

I think your plan sounds like a solid one... yeah it's odd that it's not anon-only but, I guess it's hard to be picky in current fandom.

I ended up writing stuff for two of the few prompts that were anon. xD But I'm definitely going to do some stuff for the thread here once I get some sleep. (And maybe leave anon prompts on the fest.)

I think the last round of this one had more anon prompts. But who knows. :|a

you know I'm really tired of being treated like a free babysitter with endless time on my hands and zero plans or obligations of my own because I work from home. "ohhh I'm changing my work day this week, let you knowwww"

I was not expecting to babysit on a different day so I put off this client work on the weekend (because of another obligation that you didn't tell me would be a literal all day noon to midnight event!) because I knew I could do it Monday-Tuesday. And now you're telling me I might have to babysit tomorrow with this little notice. Are you kidding me.
