what are some references/injokes (from hetalia or other fandoms) that sound innocuous without context, but that are guaranteed to be recognized by its fans? you know, phrases you could pepper in to signal you're familiar with a fandom while the words fly under the radar for anyone else.

so not like "buhyoo" since that's pretty tied to hetalia, but maybe, idk, "it's okay, i'm american!" or hell even "i will fuck you, holy bitch" given the right context.

was buhyoo widely used outside the meme? I can't remember if it was popular in the maincomm days, and I certainly don't see it outside the meme now (though to be fair I don't follow the tumblr hetalia fandom these days...)

I've only seen it used on meme. There's also an entry for it on urban dictionary though.
