part 369 prohibition cocktails

Meme, you did it! And on Christmas, too!! How fancy. How was your year? It's almost the new year and I don't know about anyone else, but I'm excited to enter the 20s. We can finally bring back some excellent slang, like "That sounds berries to me!" or "I guess I'd describe myself as a cancelled stamp." Have a good year... and don't take any wooden nickels!

Enjoy part 369!

Damn. Those are some cheap games. Sad that I can't handle horror games ;o;

it looks like most of them are back to normal price now anyway...even though i would've assumed since the sale said it'd last through November 2nd that it'd end at midnight, but w/e

still a good thing to look at to check out new things! a few of those are still pretty cheap.

and same! i usually watch other people play them for this reason ;A; but for instance, the Song of Horror one has different outcomes and touts that no playthrough will ever be the same when someone replays it, so in that case i'd want to know what could the different experiences could be like. and i've been wanting to play DBD but i feel like i'd embarrass myself in a multiplayer...i'd be nervous to play to begin with and i'm even more shit at things when i'm nervous to begin with, haha

Missed opportunity! I will check for upcoming sales.

I watch horror games let's plays too! Playing them is so scary but watching them is so fun. "Song of Horror" sound really cool. Sound like what they tried with "Until Dawn" but in a bigger scale.

I get what you mean about online multiplayer. I would be more anxious about fuck it up for the other player than about the monster trying to kill. Haha

even if we don't play any of the games, the sale stuff is helpful to look through as LP watchers looking for new playthroughs to watch!! have you seen any good ones lately?

i don't know to what extent things change around in playthroughs through that game; i feel like it'd be less story-based changes like Until Dawn (and yeah, they oversold the Butterfly Effect there but i still really loved that game!) and more the kind of paranormal activity you encounter but i can't say for sure based on the little amount i've seen. but also yeah, characters can die at any time and you can't get them back, so things would change based on that also...

i'd feel more comfortable if i was playing with other newbies in multiplayers!

the only reason i was able to play amnesia at all was because i watched several playthroughs first...

and then i tried watching a playthrough of SOMA and noped the fuck out immediately while it was still in the office part. if i could try again and get through that to the next parts, maybe i'd be able to handle playing it but that one is way harder for me because it's not in some old castle back in the old days, i think, lol

So brave, anon! I watched some of SOMA and even the playthrough scared me. The strange setting makes it even more scary since you are clueless about the rules of the world and have no idea what could appear.

I even get scared with games that aren't really horror like Half-life and BioShock.
