i get a lot of nostalgia for high school, but high school was kind of traumatic for me. but i'm also depressed now, just in a different way, so it's like i'm nostalgic for that particular period of depression? so it's like as a friend put it, a somelier saying, "ah, '07 was a good depression!" haha.

i also sort of feel like there's a "i never got the good high school experience so i'm nostalgic for high school-related things to get that fix" idk

"07 was a good depression" hhhh anon I'm kinda cracking up because I know exactly what you mean. I was stressed and depressed in high school but I have nostalgia for that particular stress and depression over what is going on now.

I wonder if anyone really gets a "good" high school experience or if it's all just manufactured concepts.
