I'm curious, what social media sites or apps do you use? do you use them regularly? you don't have to share the account if you don't want to, I'm more interested in seeing what people like to use.

DW: Frequently (like, every day). Primary media account. Never gonna' give you up, never gonna' let you down.
Tumblr: At this point I'm just here to stare at fanart. I shove 300 pictures in my queue and then don't do anything else for months.
Twitter: I have two accounts, but barely post.
Facebook: I wish I could get rid of this thing, but the local pride group exclusively organizes things via this site, argh!

same for facebook. I mean not for that specific thing, but, groups who exclusively use facebook.

I feel so old, because I really want to grow my online following for my hobby/passion and I know I'll have to start like. ACTIVEly using Instagram at a minimum, and Twitter, if not TikTok (since it seems like even Instagram reels/videos are 99.9% of the time, just people reuploading their TikToks) and it's so intimidating.

Right now I just use Tumblr. Even Twitter is like ??? idk how to do this for me.

FB: on there a fair amount since it's one of the Fun Sites I allow myself to go on during work. plus my family and many irl friends are on there, so.

tumblr: I only use it when I'm on my desktop, and when I do it sucks away my entire evening because I can't stop scrolling until I hit the last post I saw at the end of my last session, so I only switch to the desktop every other night or so. I've got my seldom-updated art account, noordzee, and my reblogblog, zeekist.

twitter: I've got a private twitter for yelling into the void and an art twitter (zeeteeart) for flicking art into the void.

pillowfort: even before the security kerfuffle it was proving the rule that I can't pay attention to more than a couple social media sites at once, I rarely updated it, orz

dreamwidth: entirely for the meme. don't think I've ever even posted a journal entry...

pinterest: don't tell tumblr, it's really useful for gathering inspiration and research ok shhhhh

DW: Checking up on the anon-meme mostly
Tumblr: I laid tumblr for a while since it was eating too much time. Now I just check in once in a while for pretty pictures.
Twitter: Same as tumblr, I just check once in a while. My phone doesn't charge data if I'm on twitter, so it's good for mindless scrolling when I'm on public transport.

I engage in brief spurts of reblog/retweet spam and then die for a few weeks on both.

I used to check FB for social events like the other people here but well, corona put an end to those, so I check FB like once a month now if I remember.
It isn't exactly social media, but I think I'm most social on discord these days? Most of my friend groups transferred there.

I mostly regularly check the meme and 4chan, I love my anonymity.
I want to get into Instagram. Posting stuff, getting comments and commenting in people art, but posting is giving anxiety.

DW I definitely use, but I think I'll turn it into my main account. Twitter is a bloody mess.
Twitter I do too but honestly I don't feel comfortable there talking about fandom things. I'd rather art and chill here.
Tumblr I always hated but at least I was smart enough to curate my experience. Now I just kinda use it as a fashion blog. Or anything that interests me.
FB I have one but rarely use it. Mostly keep it up in case a friend needs to contact me, otherwise I would have deleted it.

* dreamwidth: i use my main journal a lot. mainly, i use it to post about video games, cooking, and reading-related stuff.
* discord: i don't use it much except to connect with my dnd group.
* twitter: i usually use a private account that i use to interact with mutual friends and browse my fandoms.
