Uh sorry to put this here, meme but I have nowhere else to vent. :( Also tl;dr

An author I know in this fandom and who I was getting to know cut off one of my friends'. My friend says she didn't even notice she had been unfollowed on every social media they where friends and was pretty upset.

We started talking it out and piecing things together and the reason why my friend was cut was pretty petty: my friend shipped a pairing that interfered with the author's ship.

I'm incredibly upset on behalf of my friend because not only she was cut off over shipping, but my friend had sent her chocolates and a letter and the author kept claiming they where glad and thankful to have my friend as a friend and worse is she told her that (being thankful to have her as a friend) TWO WEEKS AGO before cutting her off.

There's a lot more to it but it's some heavy stuff and honestly it made me see the author in a different light. Now I want to cut them out of my social media as well. :I

TL;DR AUTHOR WHO HAD BEEN FRIENDS WITH MY FRIEND FOR OVER A YEAR CUT HER OVER SHIPPING DRAMA.
