Found the Norwegian version of TIX's ESC entry: Ut av mørket.

I like it better than the English one. ...GDI, the more I listen to this, the more I like it. I even translated it. (The lyrics are different from the English version.)

I spent like 3 weeks digging around the hetalia tag on ao3, and cardverse aus sure are a thing that exist
It's really fascinating how they're almost exclusive to hetalia

Since it's based on official merch, it makes sense that it'd be canon-specific.

Probably other canons have similar merch released, though I can't think of any off the top of my head.

Ahh thank you anon. It explains so much, I was wondering why there was such a general acceptance/accepted fanon that "Arthur is Alfred's queen" in pretty much every fic I saw. I really thought it was some obscure au that started in a different fandom that simply lent itself well to hetalia (like abo with every fandom ever lol)

1) Is it a sign of growing very old if Eurovision repeatedly makes me discover bands who I'd very happily take a chance to see live, or is it not if those bands are Hatari and Måneskin?

2) I didn't know until last night that Norway sent TIX, haven't listened to any of his stuff since 5 years ago. Unfortunately it's usually distinctly better than that, for assorted values of 'better'.

I’m just so happy it’s spring, being able to sit with the windows open to a spring breeze is wonderful ;o;

I’ve now had two “oh no oh no gotta pack for a trip” dreams. I know it was very surprising and exciting to go on that vacation this month, subconscious, but there won’t be another for a while, you can calm down already :T

Now that I’ve recovered from my brain being turned into eurovision soup, I’m surprised by which songs are surfacing to get stuck in my head. I didn’t like Love Is On My Side all that much, why does it keep coming back??

up until italy's explosive audience points win, i'd been cheering for switzerland's singer

he looks so cute and has such a nice voice

but was it me, or did he sound kinda cocky in the interview midway through points counting, saying something like "lol i won the judges points i got what i came here for" and. oh. okay. idk communicating complex feelings in a second or third or fourth language and all but

judges points isn't the whole point of eurovision
