part 370 fresh flowers on a side table in the morning

Um, 2020 was a year that happened. 2021 is a new year that will happen! With flowers! And side tables! And mornings! And I didn't want to make some sort of 20s-themed name because look what happened in 2020, look what happened.

Enjoy part 370!

The second season for Netflix's Ragnarok dropped, and I managed not to binge all 5 episodes. So now I have 3 episodes left to watch tonight instead of 0, aw yeah /o/

fjasdflasjgfl I just watched all episodes, and I... Meme, I can't believe they let the Loki stand-in in this series actually "birth" Jörmungandr.

By (grody spoiler) having him ""give birth"" to a freaking huge tapeworm. And then they let the Loki stand-in keep it and raise it.

Oh my god, what is this series, and why do I love it still?

But that seems like a weird choice, since aside from the whole horse story, Loki in myth never gave birth to any of his other children.

In the case of Jörmungandr, Angrboda or some other giant was the mom.

We'll see what happens in season 3, but I guess they wanted to stay partially true to the myths by having the Loki give birth to one of his children, and having him give birth to a snake like this is easier to explain than him giving birth to a horse or wolf. Since the story is trying to (somewhat realistically) take place in a rural town in current day Norway.

Like how the giants represent chaos and destruction in this town by polluting the environment with their factory and business when they could've had the giants hold Norwegian fight club or something.

On Wednesday evening I went up a mountain with a couple friends to watch the supermoon rise. It was really hazy and extremely windy, so it felt kind of intense and primal when we saw that weird orange blob loom through the fog. Then we drove down to a nearby beach and the view was even more spectacular, the moon was out of the haze and bathing everything in a pale orange glow. Absolutely glorious, even if I did get home with my hair in one giant tangle, haha

The Sleeping Beauty! I'm surprised they're doing like. the full ballet. when they announced I def. thought it would be a highlights situation but nope. Apparently built the outdoor stage last summer specifically for full performances (with interior/enclosed stage wings for costumes/props/etc) so I'm excited to see what they do with it.
