[Maybe he should approach this scientifically and substitute the variables. Japan sounds like he misses hanging out with him, which is a mutual feeling. And wants him to share something personal that's not related to his work or his home.]

I'll miss Oktoberfest again this year, but it'd be irresponsible to hold such a large gathering for trivial reasons. Otherwise I would've already invited you.

( mid-flailing pause ) -- O-Of course, I spoke without considering the current situation on a larger scale. ( Stop apologizing even this formally!!!! ) Though I should have... but also, absolutely, it is understandable....

Of course, Germany would be unable to 'visit' in such matters ... ( totally is not the slightest disappointed-seeming )

( hands still in the air from pausing mid-flailing but kind of motions a bit in an effort to like ... emphasize means well / Kiku understands what Germany meant )

... but perhaps on a smaller scale .... ??

And, the kitchen as well, is quite large, of course, you can cook anything there!!! as well as the main rooms,
Of course, Germany would be given the most well prepared and largest guest room and ----

A-Anyhow, it is rather unfortunate we have not been able to visit each others' houses in a while, and, of course, the current situation is understandable!!! -- but,

It's been a bit lonely. ( That even 'simple' visits have become difficult.... )

For you, too, there's no need to apologize. You didn't cause offense.

[Stares again. Normally he would've interrupted and told the other to hurry up and get to their point, but Japan is his friend and he seems to be going through something. So for once, Germany will bear it and be... as patient as he can be.]

[He's not sure about some of the things Japan is saying. It feels like he did something to make Japan think he's upset, but that could also just be him misinterpreting Japan's way of communicating. Either way, he does make the retreat sound amazing. So once Japan is done, he'll clasp him on the shoulder with one hand, solemn look on his face as always.]

Say no more, Kiku. I appreciate your offer. Please, lead the way to your retreat.

[And if Japan is feeling lonely, Germany understands that feeling all too well. He'll make sure to schedule more time with him in real life, so Japan won't feel too alone.]

[ In past scenarios, Japan would have probably frozen up and immediately went into an obedient-type stance; immediately doing what Germany said in that very moment; and to be honest still a bit half-frozen mentally but Kiku ---- ]

[ its not that Kiku hasn't shown it at all in the modern day, more the contrary (at many times in memes' past too), but, it seemed to have not been seen as much in recent years (not helped by anxieties over 'happenings' in general) ---- ]

[ and since Germany is asking, Kiku might as well begin to turn to start leading the way ]

[ to be honest Kiku thought Germany would merely ask for directions and then Kiku would have to do something like -- mail them, as usual, or --- ]

[ but Kiku has worried that Germany might get a bit turned around, though it really isn't that difficult to reach either, it's pretty much a straight path from where they currently are ] [ ~~but Germany~~ ]

[ But Kiku is not about to give up on this opportunity!!! Can't even wipe the smile off face!!! ]

Of course, I will lead! It's not that far from our current location,

rather, it is just outside the major gathering spots of 'this place' so there is,

quite a lot of calm and quiet there too!... [ its too quiet lately ~~its too quiet~~ ]

[ its not nearly like when Japan went full-on Italy-mode on Germany, but that beaming should still definitely be noticeable, and Kiku might be chanting 'Yes!' quite a bit in head right now and also mentally punching the air ~~Germany can't see that part though but~~ Kiku your surprising level of enthusiasm is showing ]
