I work CS and I can't believe how unusual it's become for people to add details to their problems. Like 99% of first contact with customers now is "I have a problem" or "I have an issue" or "My (brand that has 1000s of products) product isn't working" and that's it.

No titles no serial numbers no product codes no customer info no details on what isn't working or what they're experiencing, no nothing. It's like walking into a clothing shop and being like "I don't like the item I bought here some time ago." without the actual item yet expecting the clothing shop to know exactly what you don't like about the item you didn't bring or described and have a tailored solution for you right away.

Trust me, unless you're sending Tolstoy-novel-length information about your issue or you did something illegal, you can't go wrong with providing as much info as possible when you need to contact CS.
