Are there any fic or art projects you've been thinking about doing but which aren't going to happen in the near future for whatever reason? Like kink meme prompts you've bookmarked for later use?

it will never happen in the near future because my fic writing unfortunately sucks

There's that thing in which Norway's ship goes down in a storm and then Belgium and Netherlands conveniently find and rescue him. (Though not before he drowns once or twice).

I also have a fic about Norway and Roald Amundsen that I have outlined, but I want to do more research on Amundsen first. I feel like I have a decent grasp of him, but I want to be sure. It's for that one KM prompt several months ago that was about nations and not-military/political historical figures.

There's a sequel to Sound Dues that I had planned - it was going to actually be part of that fic but I didn't have time to put it in. Basically it involves Denmark and Netherlands doing some catching-up, I guess you could say.

And there's also a sequel to that one Norway/Germany fic, Matters of Attraction. Kind of exploring their interaction a bit more and developing the relations a little, going beyond just attraction even if neither of them want to admit it.

I keep thinking about the sex as publix punishment prompt on the kink meme. I really want to fill it with fem!Prussia and throw in some fem!Prussia/fem!Austria in the background (as an established relationship, not with Austria delivering the punishment), but I need to be in suitable mood for writing something like that.

And then there's this massive, massive political fantasy AU with at least three long story arcs that I'd love to write, but I'm afraid of starting it because I don't know if I'd ever finish.

Tons of old kinkmeme prompts I want to fill. As for specific projects, since sequels and such were mentioned:

Two major spinoffs to a fic I did back in 2010 about Sweden being an imperialistic ass at the end of the Napoleonic wars, one would have been from Denmark's point of view (with heavy themes of isolation and loss of control) and one from Norway's (with themes of anxiety and self-preservation as he hedges his bets and realizes unions aren't working out for him). But the scale of both projects is more than I could take on right now...

Those sound like huge projects. They also sound fucking amazing.

Basically a Cardverse fic centered around the Nordics, incorporating their official Cardverse designs and plot references to Norse mythology. I'm thinking of an action-journey plot. It'd be DenNor for sure, but I'm still undecided on putting SuFin. I'd need more research of course, but I've already got several scenes playing out in my head...

I have a lot of km prompts bookmarked, and a ridiculous amount of them involve kinky germancest porn.

On the non-porn front, I've had a bunch of ideas in the back of my mind that may never get written. One of which is a Highlander crossover involving old fritz where he and prussia almost meet several times since his "death." But I am daunted by the historical research needed to pull it off. Also, plot is hard.

I have a bunch ;n; one is this km prompt of ensemble fic of virgins switching genders which I wanted to tackle semi-seriously and semi-'it's totally all Romania's fault' with plenty of magic club shenanigans

also I wanted to have a 'choose your own adventure' style game with Russia and Baltics before Hallowe'en, where you could like pick dialogue and stuff and it's in a super creepy haunted castle but sadly that's completely not gonna happen in time
