i want to make an effort at dating.

but part of me also doesn't want to be bothered with it all. it seems too much work. or maybe it's me, i've always had a weird sense of pride that makes me pull back from people when i feel like i'm putting myself in a position where i have to depend on them.

uggggggggh. i'm going to sign up for one of those dating sites come summer and simply get out there.

Are you me, anon? Dating takes time and effort I´m not willing to put. Plus, it takes time to know someone and feel comfortable to share things ugh.

a fandom friend and i shared this one pairing, which is a relatively rare pairing and her otp. now i find myself drifting toward this other pairing, which is a "rival" pairing as it shares one character with that pairing, and besides that it's also a more popular pairing (and the default pairing for that particular character) and this friend's notp.

it's silly, but i feel like i have to pretend not to like it that much because i feel like i'm betraying the rare pairing (which i still do ship, by the way!) or selling out but truth be told by now i like that popular pairing more. and it's going to show sooner or later, i mean i'm not going to stave off doing fic for it if i feel the inspiration. but. i feel all nervous inside.

Maybe you need a little break? Read a bunch of really good fanfics of Norway or look at fanart and see if you can inspire yourself!
