combobreaker i actually love thunder and lightning. and that kind of expectation in the air, and the way in summer it breaks a heat with rain, and the sheer excitement and... elegance is not the word i am looking for, but you know, it's kind of like when you see a beautiful cloud formation or stars or the view from an overlook or something and it's just like, you feel suddenly how small you are to the big, big world and there's something thrilling about it.

Frankly, one of the joys of Into the Woods was that it was playing around with fairytales and yet not trying to be family friendly (not that, imo, it was particularly raunchy or boundary-pushing either, it was just very clearly not aiming at a family audience).

Whatever. I don't expect the singing could ever top the stage version anyway, so, meh.
