We've been here over a year now! I can hardly believe it! Dreamwidth's been pretty good, I'd say, with almost no downtime to speak of and all that! Anyway... how is your spring going? Or I guess it's almost summer, isn't it? Hopefully it's been well! I've been catching up on work and new movies, all very exciting stuff, I'm sure.

What do you guys do to re-motivate yourselves after a long hiatus and/or creative block?

I'm such a lazy, lazy lazylazylazy lazybutt lazysaurus rex. And the worst part is, the more I have put off getting back into working on my writing and drawing, the more I almost dread it. But still in my heart I want to do so much more stuff to contribute to fandom, especially since I got into contributing (versus lurking) "late" as it were, and I feel like I have all these trapped ideas inside me to make into things to share.

She swore up and down she's still a virgin so it's not that bad yet! [Though at this rate she might lose it to France instead of Italy, and Prussia will be losing a lot of money in that case...]

Oh christ, she didn't? Heheheh! It's just like her crusade against smoking, just ignore it and it'll go away!

[Her master plan of Austrias are better behaved when she's not around to instigate!! Especially with Germanies!

Generally, when I go through a dry spell, it helps to either

-Work on something that is already almost finished, because it feels good to finally have it done

or

-Start something new that I plan to keep very short. Usually fluff/smut ficlets that are intended to be around 500 words. Responses to prompt generators, that kind of thing. They're quick and relatively brainless and the feeling of finishing something is rewarding enough that it gives me energy to work on other things.
