part 353 whalers on the moon

We've been here over a year now! I can hardly believe it! Dreamwidth's been pretty good, I'd say, with almost no downtime to speak of and all that! Anyway... how is your spring going? Or I guess it's almost summer, isn't it? Hopefully it's been well! I've been catching up on work and new movies, all very exciting stuff, I'm sure.

Enjoy part 353!

I went on a geological excursion in April in a very gorgeous part of Southern France, so there's lots and lots. But I'm actually busy writing my report on that very excursion right now (it's due in 12 hours), so I just randomly picked a couple. None of them remotely do the places justice though :|a

In Gorges d'Héric, the most beautiful park I've ever been in. You can't really see it from this angle, but right in front where is picture was taken is a small waterfall.

The waterfall in question. There were lots, but this was the one I had my lunch at.

Some trees at my lodge. I loved how pretty the green and blue look together, so I took a picture.

Taken in Minerve. This underground cave is actually pretty cool. It was naturally made by the river.

By the Mediterranean Sea, in Cap d'Agde.

Whoops, missed the "nearby" part

Here's one taken on another excursion on Saturday. It's not all nature, but close enough? Maybe? I have no idea where exactly this was since we walked around so much and I haven't sorted through my notes yet, but I think it shows the Nahe River in Germany.

Thank you! They were beautiful places, so I'd really like to go back for a visit in the future and take even prettier ones!

I know, right? If I lived anywhere close to that park, I'd visit the hell out of it every day. It was my favorite place out of all those I saw on the trip. (I also grew really attached to that waterfall for some reason.)
