hey meme I just found out that a guy I worked with (4 years younger than me even) not two years ago passed away very suddenly (so, like, not cancer or cystic fibrosis or any manner of not-atypical terminal illnesses that on occasion do befall relatively young and fit people)

I'm not usually the type to be affected by these things - and I'm not, I didn't know him beyond our work relationship and I am a godawful person which is why I'm kinda shocked-laughing right now - but it's just so very surreal to have, like. people younger than you, people who were already that young, die. what.

does anybody else out there know this feeling?
