I used to dress all grungey and punky back in the days and I regret not going all the way and doing something entirely crazy like coloring my hair blue. I could do that now but I have to do job interviews, ugh.

The Italies, of course, have no fashion regrets, except maybe that sometimes they would like to relax and chill but no, you have to shave, do your hair and put on at least decent trousers and shoes even to go throw the garbage because EVERYBODY IS ALWAYS WATCHING. the one time Feliciano went to put out Romacat in boxers and a wifebeater with an egg stain on it a paparazzo took a picture and the next day on the bus everybody was shaking their heads at him and Renzi called to know if the economy was that bad

I got an old timey British footballer (born 1890) for a band name which is ok (like if you're going for a sorta faux-British hipstery thing, at least) and I got at least one pic that I think would make for a great album cover but I will have to adjust the instruction for the album title and amend it to "the first words I saw the way I read them at first" and go with:

everything. i regret my fashion choices everyday but i don't have it in me to care more. (i would love to dress cute but i have to walk around outside in the cold sometimes for work, and lol no im not wearing flats and pants with thin socks in this. i kind of dont really like wearing boots EVERY DAY but its warmer. and i want to wear skirts and experiment but. again, ITS COLD. (but even when its not winter they still jack up the AC in these places and every room is different so i could be comfortable in one room, and freezing in the next.))

i made a new years resolution to be more productive in fandom, because i have been inactive for quite a while (partially due to my irritation with the culture of a couple of my fandoms, but that doesn't solve anything - be the change you want to see, you know).

and then immediately got slammed with a huge project with a crazy deadline. which is fine, mind, because believe me i do need the money and the experience, so on the one hand i'm very happy but on the other hand i have never been more stressed in my life. i have never handled something of such scope and with such a large/prestigious company before. i have also never handled something with such an extreme rush deadline. this last week i found i'm working roughly 14-16 hours a day and depressingly i'm actually a bit behind schedule to meet my swift approaching deadline so it's definitely time for ramping it up to 18-20 hour days, which is fine, i can live on 4-6 hrs sleep i just haven't ever had a situation in which i needed to pull that for three weeks straight.

i'm usually a pretty calm person but for the first time in my life i think i kind of understand when people say they're on the verge of a breakdown. shit's crazy, man.

venting here cos i don't want to vent to friends/family, i mean this is a big break for me and it IS a positive and lucky thing overall and they're all congratulating me so i don't wanna put a downer on the buzz but holy shiiiiiiiiiiiittttttt what am i doing what am i doing wahhhhhh.

alright, i'm done, i feel better now. see you in three weeks, meme o7
