It's... December! I can't believe it's almost the end of another year. Time is weird. Anyway! There's been a lot of neato Hetalia news in the meantime! That game (that I can't get working but will look at videos and screencaps of so I can play vicariously)! The image of the first doll! The musical promo images!! What are you most excited for?

It's worth a look! To me it's the perfect blend of cheesy and 'gritty' in terms of Batman...

Ahahaha, that's good. You can't go too far in either direction with a series about A Man Wearing A Bat Costume, good that they've found the balance!

To be fair Gotham is a prequel!! Batman is just a just-barely-teenage Bruce Wayne at this point. Still pretty campy just in a different way. (Like today a character pushed a button on their wall which turned around and revealed--well I won't say in case anon is reading, but, something that you'd see in the 60s TV version hah.)

The beauty is that it straddles the line so well. It does get dark, really dark at times, but it doesn't shy away from including camp elements and being quirky.
